Excellent hotel with great amenities like Wi-Fi, tv, and free parking. The staff even helped me with a bottle of water at night during my first stay. I highly recommend it!

English breakfast, GREAT food. Beautiful double room, lovely beds. A local area, brilliant location near Longleat and Chedder gorge, restaurants, and Longleat Safari Park, which is a ca n't miss attraction. Plus, 10 minutes drive from Lake Pleasure Grounds.

Staff were affable and breakfast was plentiful and sensational. Booked twin/double room with central heating, multi-channel TV and ironing facilities.

Cozy room, friendly host, with a spacious layout that included a comfortable seating area and a lovely en suite bathroom with big, fluffy towels, along with excellent breakfast options including homemade marmalade and fresh fruits.

Really good hospitality at breakfast

The atmosphere was cute. Trisha and colin's hospitality. Breakfast was beautifully presented with local ingredients, and the spacious garden allowed for peaceful relaxation.

I must say, the location was ok, but finding it was an absolute disaster. The bathroom was a tad small, but I suppose that's charming? I woudl ve been thrilled to receive some complimentary treats for all my trouble, yet the hosts forgot. Just couldn't see how this place is rated highly. Disappointed, to say the least.

A warm welcome and good stay

Arriving to a heartfelt welcome from Trish with tea and homemade cake set a wonderful tone. The grounding, peaceful atmosphere, especially the good breakfasts prepared with local ingredients.

While our stay was lovely overall, the bathroom could have been a bit larger for more comfort, but it certainly did not detract from the experience.

Had a cozy double room with a private bathroom, big fluffy towels, and a tv. The room was well-equipped with a mini fridge for drinks and fresh milk. Breakfast was delicious with local ingredients and everything was freshly cooked. Hosts were super cute.

Finding the place was a hassle due to mismatched postal information, and the WiFi reception left something to be desired for anyone needing solid connectivity. A few guests also mentioned upstairs room access being an issue for those with mobility challenges, and while the bathroom was functional, it felt a bit smaller than expected, which could be a drawback for some. There were limited options for vegan diets at breakfast, and the lack of evening dining or snacks on-site was a bit disappointing.

Our family enjoyed the warm and cute atmosphere. The location offered fine views of the countryside and was conveniently close to Longleat and Bath for exploring. Each breakfast was a delight with fresh local ingredients and generous portions that catered to everyone's tastes.

The WiFi could have been better, especially for those needing stable connectivity.

Charming Stay with Really good Breakfast

My experience was good from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was greeted with warm tea and a slice of homemade cake-what a sweet touch! The room I stayed in was spacious and offered beautiful views of the countryside. Breakfast was a feast, with a fantastic selection including a fresh, cooked full English that was delicious. The only minor downside was that I would have preferred a slightly larger bathroom, but it didn't detract much from the stay.

This place is centrally located near a charming area, ideal for attending a course, exploring Longleat Safari Park, which is highly recommended, and enjoying a beautiful garden.
